This year, he urged the congregation to pray for a hedge of protection around their families and the restoration of broken gates—symbolizing safety, security, and stability.
2. Blessings in Family
The Bishop declared this year as one of divine provision and abundance. Referencing God’s promise to Israel of the finest wheat, he compared it to Mwea’s renowned pishori rice, illustrating how God’s blessings would meet families’ needs in ways both familiar and extraordinary. He encouraged believers to move prophetically from lack to abundance, trusting God to supply the very best for their households.
3. Peace in Family
Peace was highlighted as a crucial prayer focus for the year. The Bishop shared that many prayer requests he received centered on family struggles with conflict and unrest.
